How does one go about reconciling the ethical dilemmas associated with Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) as a mental health service delivery model? Doesn't it reinforce a paternalistic mindset we often see from policymakers and service providers applied toward those individuals experiencing homelessness or enrolled on social assistance? Or is that the point? From a program evaluation standpoint, how do we incorporate these considerations?
