Summary

Homelessness amongst Indigenous Peoples can be traced back to historical trauma, oppression, racism and discrimination in Canada. Homelessness amongst Indigenous Peoples should be considered as a consequence resulting from Canada’s history of colonization and exploitation of Indigenous land and populations.
